What paint for Stern Locker?

Hi All,

Looking to strip and paint the stern locker cover on my wee trailer sailor.

She's not a gin palace by any stretch so wondering if expensive deck paint is a bit overkill?

It gets sat on when you're on the helm, so was thinking a sating finish outdoor 'windowsill' type paint from B and Q might be cheaper and do the job?

Any thoughts or suggestions of what I need much recommended...
