It does make our cars a bit aged, but at least we have the patina and I like patina in my choice of vehicle...
I like the grill over the engine to get the heat out though.

Overall the shape is very similar to the Can Am, but It's interesting how a few small details make the design look sharp and current. I agree with you on the vents, but I wonder how that works in the rain? Of course this isn't the type of car you drive in the rain!

Another design I was looking at was the Porsche 918 Spyder with it's exhaust coming right out of the rear hood. That is really interesting

At least the roll cage won't be of debate in UK road registering due to obstruction of forward field of view..... Hahaha

ive thought of replacing my gtr with the hard top version, as it looks so much more modern.

However, and this is a big hats off to the Ultima Factory. Ted and Richard have got the build quality very right.. my car feels solid, planted and quality and up along side my mates Ferrari, Lambos and Bugati i dont feel like im driving a kit car. That spyder looks great but flimsy and under finished. There cant be a lot of rigity in it, and the back is just plane ugly. God and i hat that dash too.

All we need is a modern set of body work to fit the already fantastic chassis and we will be back up there with the modern boys...

That front overhang would be very interesting over UK speed humps but the design is attractive................until you get to the back!!!

Yes but it should match the other trim otherwise you have three colors going on, that gets a bit busy

the wheels are currently a dark gunmetal which don't match anything (3colours).... I was thinking of just a bit more contrast and hard to photoshop the exact color but something like this..??

The rear end remains unresolved from the hard top for me.
Anyway the chances of them getting their hands on my hard-earned for a "home build kit" would be zero to nothing.
Trust in business is everything and I believe they have a chequered history on this side of the pond.

Ahh, good to hear that as I thought I had drunk too much wine or that my computer was in a final spin to it's terminal crash...
