went to see this today. It was reduced from 46k and might of accidently bought my first ferrari! So excited.

absolutely immaculate for its age. All the right documents. Only just serviced. Belts last year.

Ive been looking for weeks and im convinced ive had the deal of the century. Test drive was amazing.

Whats everyones thoughts?

That does look a real clean example with perfect front lights. The price looks good too

Looks lovely! I know you wanted a red one so box ticked !

Queries for me would be: 11 stamps when it should have had 15 and the advert states 'May of this year' for the last service when we still are in April ?? - so I would check if it's going to need another service right now or if they have just got the wording wrong.

Hope it all stacks up for you as it's a beauty!

Nice.

Deal of the century ??? - they were low 30's a few years ago, hopefully they'll continue to increase in value wink

Just noticed it's got a Tubi exhaust on it as well which isn't listed in the advert! That would have cost about £3.5k when new I believe and sounds fantastic.

When was the clutch replaced and what was the reading at the last service?. If it hasn't been changed, depending on where it's been driven it could be due one fairly soon.
My advice is have it inspected, particularly for accident damage.....a clutch, ball joints and a few other bits and pieces and it will start to become more expensive.....

I don't want to be a mood hoover, but go in with your eyes open and don't be swayed by the shinyness ( ps I don't know the car or seller)

Looks good and sensibly priced.
As above get a proper inspection.

sounds like V8V knows something so you had better get the car checked over... better to go in with eyes open. believe me its very easy to see 5000 bills to sort a few jobs out.

This ^^.

Do your due diligence before handing over cash. A Ferrari is usually bought with the heart so it is easy to get swept up in the excitement of the looks, performance and noise.

But a bad car (and you probably wouldn't have noticed them during a test drive) could leave you with major bills if not careful.

Enjoy the purchase and the car when you do eventually get it, but as above get a full inspection done before hand.

I suspect it is due to our naming and shaming rules.

A simple inbox would suffice.

There's enough bad luck for people in life. if i saw someone who could possibly make a bad decision and it could be prevented then i would be the first to point something out.

He has pointed it out to you - which bit do you think is cryptic? He's given you all the info you need to find out about this car. Ignore it at your peril.

Whilst I appreciate the naming and shaming thing, I can't understand the problem with stating facts.

Not particularly this case but many others.

Grant, give Tim a call, more than likely the car just wanted or needed discs, ball joint, and the like and they have been done.
However if its something more serious then you need to know now.

Having dealt with Tim for the first time in the last few day and having bought a car today I feel I have to echo the comments above. I buy and sell lots of cars and dealing with Tim was one of if not the best experience I have had. If these guys say you need to speak to him please head the advice. I have nothing to gain from this advice as my deal with Tim is done.....
