Does anyone have 4 Walky Talky handsets that I could 'rent' for a week for a road trip through Europe? They need to be PWR446 compatible so we don't stray on to any government or emergency services frequencies.

Or

Can anyone recommend a good make/brand at a reasonable price? We will only need them for a week in June so I don't want to spend the earth on a set.

I've used these and they are cheapish and pretty good:

Not sure if they adhere to your PWR446 though.

I bought some Binatone 1100s from Argos, £99 for 4. They are rechargeable (although spare batteries might be a good idea) and work fine.

You're welcome to borrow mine but I only have two.

Hey Paul - don't forget to bring those to Wales with you - something I was going to mention nearer the time if anyone had them (we have a couple of sets too) smile

I would Tony but I would have real trouble trying to get the money from the people coming with me. One of them really is a miserable Tosser!!!
