Quick intro :-)Took delivery of my first Aston Martin a few weeks ago and am absolutely thrilled with it

Received first rate service from Grange Brentwood including a 2 hour + tutorial which was clearly needed as this car is like nothing I have ever driven !

Only issue has been the Emissions warning light which Stratsone fixed rapidly ( excellent service)

Insurance sorted through Locktons together with AMOC membership .... all good

Cheers

Looks more like the James Blunt look.
Anyway you've got a sense of humour, that's good.
From your first pic you appeared to be driving it a la James Bond.
Lots of driving happiness to you. smile

Sense of humour ? hmmm... I have an Aston Martin baseball cap and play Bond theme music every night when I reverse into the garage

....my wife thinks I'm hysterical ( although I think her words were ' you're bonkers') :-)

Leave the boy alone,Michael.
Have you morphed into our George ?
Maybe you'll buy him some other wheels ?
Go away and play with your EXPENSIVE Patek. laugh

Very gracious Smokey.
I'd have told the old curmudgeon to sod off.
Don't worry, hang around, you'll get the hang of it.
But be afraid of George ,be very afraid. biggrin

Yeah, time & experience teach us not to be too sensitive around this lot 'cos they can be, ahem, quite forthright with their opinions.

George, for instance, who is actually a mythical creature from the north with a mouldy green Aston that rarely touches tarmac, has an aversion to carbon fibre, blingy wheels, AM baseball caps, anything Aston/Bond related, most personalised number plates etc. You have been warned!

However, the banter is all good fun and you will soon get to know the characters and to give as good as you get biggrin

Welcome - lovely looking car and as Molly says don't worry about some of the maladjusted characters on this forum.

Good to see another V8 roadster in blue. Cue yet another shameless excuse to post a pic of my recent acquisition alongside IanV12VR's baby hehe
