I'm nothing to do with them just something I've been using today.

I know lots of PHers like making things and these could come in very handy.

Basically two washers that lock into each other making a very tight joint. Used a lot in heavy industrial applications.

They gave us these bottle openers to demonstrate them in action. Tighten the wing nut then try and undo it.

Mine is now stuck!

used them in the past on turbo and manifold studs where nothing else would stay on with the heat cycling and they worked a treat
