Soooo...had to move out the way of an idiot driver and hit a puddle that turned out to be a pot hole. Two dented alloys and two tyres with side punctures. ..

My question...are these alloys in need of replacement? Photos to follow shortly!

Will you check with the local council and put in a claim? If you do be sure to take pictures of the damaged road before reporting as they sometimes seem to be fixed overnight!

Coincidentally, I've just had my car back with 2 new alloys after a puddle (which turned out to be a deep crater) buckled 2 wheels - and ruined one tyre.

Mine weren't all that visible from the outside as the damage was inner rim.

Would be surprised if those wheels aren't buckled - get them on a balancing machine and you'll be able to see if they are wobbling

Thanks guys, managed to source 4 matching alloys with decent tyres for £150.

Get's me back on the road quickly and gives me 2 decent spares too. Will weigh these in as damaged nxt week.
