s2 tyres

just been reading the tech section on lotus cars website about tyres.It made interesting reading as i didn't realise that the bridgestone potenza tyres fitted to the MK2 elise have a special code and are not the same tyre fitted to the VX220
just wondering if anyone else realised this? also i hope this doesn't mean we are going to pay through the nose for tyres because there made in limited quantities

dont think this code is that important really

lets face it lots of people run deunlops or toyo with no problems

also the instructor at fiirst lotus said he couldnt tell the difference between vx and elise tyres
