Sierra XR4x4 brake conversion

Please can somebody tell me, is it possible to fit Sierra Cosworth 4x4 front brake discs to an XR4x4 if new calipers are also fitted?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Is the spacer placed between the brake disc & wheel, or are you saying calipers should need spacing?

My car is on 16" wheels and I don't want to use spacers unless I absolutely have to.
