F40 involved in RTA....
Discussion
While not a total loss, it doesn't look good, lets hope the other driver has good coverage...

The guy in the Dodge jumped the right light and hit the Ferrari. I must admit we all jump traffic lights especially when they're in the processing of turning from amber to red or just turned red a split second ago but I doubt any is dumb enough to jump a red light when a Ferrari is in the way of oncoming turning traffic!

If that's the way you approach traffic lights I'm keeping well away from you. Monty Python said:

Speak for yourself! No traffic lights should be set up so that you have to go through them on red. The only time I ever jump red lights is to let emergency vehicles past, and even then I do I very slowly and carefully and wont actually go all the way across the junction if I have any other choice. If that's the way you approach traffic lights I'm keeping well away from you. In my completely uneducated opinion that looks like an easy, yet expensive fix - will depend on how original the owner / garage wants it to be.
The US spec F40 has a little bit of extra chassis bolted on under the 'hood' to comply with US crash regs - they cost an absolute fortune and are sometimes cited as the reason why they go for so much more in the US than they do in Europe - the F40 they famously rebuilt on 'Fast n' Loud' used a non-Ferrari part made for them for a fraction of the cost.
This one is nothing like as bad as that one was.

Hook, line and sinker
My earlier post was a little mini experiment to see how far off the topic we could get and for how long. I'm still chuckling
Of course, we're all driving gods on here who have never jumped a red light and adhere to the Highway Code to the nth degree.
PS: RIP Ferrari F40.

I havnt jumped a red light before. I think you should be careful. As for the F40...how is the chassis constructed? Could the front subframe be replaced? Thankfully most of the mechanical brmm brmm parts are in the rear.

I thought they used only Orig. Ferrari parts on that car, otherwise it couldn't be re authenticated? Ah the old 'It was just a test' gag. Yep, you got me. You still 'have' me to be honest.
