So MB have finally admitted to this issue recalling 284,000 vehicles!

About time as I've been on at them for over a year and they've constantly denied any knowledge of it. Suggest you check whether yours may be affected. Someone in the US was burt from overheating of the bulbholder module, another had a small BBQ in their boot (trunk!) - lots available via various forums on the web.
What did Gottlieb Daimler say - "The best or nothing"
