6 weeks to go, no passport, no tickets, can't find my documents to tax the car a week before we go, sounds like another gowland outing!

Passport has arrived at the renewal service thank goodness. Only two weeks to be delivered!!

Don't worry about the passport, I travelled out using Eurotunnel a few years back, in my panic to get there on time I had left my passport on the bed at home, I got down to the self check in, entered my booking number and got on the train to France,(no one checked the passports) Coming home was a different matter, I thought I had misplaced the passport in the car somewhere, after filling out a form at the UK customs border when I got home I found the passport on the bed where I had left it! Sadly the UK border agency cancelled that passport (even though I telephoned them to tell them it was safe) Cost me £70.00 for a new one
