Canon 20D upgrade - 40D or 50D
Discussion
I would like to get a slight upgrade to my old 20D soon, want to keep it reasonably cheap and was looking at getting either a secondhand 40D or 50D. A lot of the review/opinions I have read seem to suggest that the image quality isn't really much different between the 40 & 50, but there seems to be about £50-£100 difference on the secondhand market between them.
I'm after another opinion, and was wondering if anyone had used both, and which they preferred? Looking to upgrade mainly to get a bit better image quality, bigger screen and the anti dust feature.

Hello
I looked at those recently when thinking of changing to Canon. I didn't in the end but was erring toward the 50D.
The main reason was that it can run the Magic Lantern firmware which although thought of as for video also has a lot of photography tools in built. Also Auto ISO on the 40D was a bit pathetic by the Nikon standard that I was used to, the 50D moves things on with this.
If you don't fancy need either then I would suggest getting the cheaper body and putting the cash toward nicer lenses.
