Just a short topic. The Griff built in 1992 had the original roof which has lasted well for 22 years but was tired, marked and the rear screen split and barely see through. Not any more. Had a new roof fitted yesterday. Not to everyone's taste due to the rear screen being made smaller but this will assist in the roof laying flat and not creasing the clear panel. Have loaded some before and after pic's.

Cheers

I like that! Two questions - can you tell me who made the rear panel and re-covered the roof, and roughly how much? PM me please if you prefer not to answer in a public forum.

ETA - 3 questions! Do you find it affects the view a great deal, especially when reversing?

Hello GlynMo
The roof was replaced by Guy Broom at West Country Trimmers, Bovey Tracey. The cost was £460 + VAT. Guy did a great job at a very reasonable price. As for reversing or driving I don't find any disadvantage with the square style rear window. I hope this helps?

Hi, yes that certainly helps, thanks, and it seems good value to me. Next time I'm going to be over in the UK in the Griff, I think I'll make an appointment. How long did he need the car?

Guy said he could normally complete the work in a day but was very busy so I left the car with him for 48 hours. I had to book the car in and there was a four week wait for a slot just because he is in demand. Next on my list is for him to re-carpet the Griff biggrin

Would just add that I supplied the Targa roof seal and both window seals which Guy replaced with the roof.
