Anyone recommend someone who can do this new technique of chrome effect spray finish onto plastics/grp?

Heard of a few places who do it but anyone used someone they can recommend who has done a good job? (Preferably in the midlands but location not too important).

Cheers.

They painted some parts for me but also supply the paint to do it yourself. Head office is based in St Neots Cambridgeshire. Speak to Chris the owner. Very very bright chrome

I've been join through the saga of this for a couple of months now, it depends on where the part is going to be on what finish you need.
Parts out in the elements need a special laquer otherwise it goings yellow in the UV light apparently.

One place I spoke to said they could do it, but they wanted to charge me a small fortune, £250 for a pair of headlight bowls.

I'm currently trying a place in Warwick and should have the parts back by the weekend, the cost should be much lower too, I'll report back when I get the parts and let you know how good it is. It is still a paint finish rather than a plating.

There are places that can electroplate GRP, not sure how they do it, but the finish is spot on, its also expensive, in the region of £250 for a pair of headlamp parts.

Google lustre coatings an chat to Jason he is opposite Lotus cars at Hethel and his work is as good as you will find
Qne of his recent projects has been spraying champagne bottles with chrome paint for a VERY high end client
So he has lots of experience with the system and you can see examples of his work

I used

To chrome plate on rapid prototyped parts.

Much better finish than spray.... But maybe more money...
