Any Ouessant Sheep Owners On Here ?
Discussion
Hi,
I recently met a guy who had some Ouessant sheep (apparently the smallest sheep in the world) they are also supposed to be friendly, hardy and easy to keep.
I have 3 acres of 6yr old woodland and am seriously considering getting a couple of wethers to keep as lawn mowers.
I found a local seller and he says they are ideal - but of course he wants a sale.
Does anyone own any, to confirm their suitability ?

Better make sure your fencing is very secure.
I live on Box Hill, where sheep are deployed throughout the winter and spring to keep the scrub down. Only they keep escaping.
As the rangers know to their great annoyance, sheep can quite happily head butt their way through an electric fence.
