Is this too good to be true?
Discussion
Spotted this ad on ebay and emailed the seller as they hadn't included any useful info. Apparently it isn't taxed or mot'd but they're willing to do this before selling. Mileage 100,000. It looks very dirty, like it's been hidden away... but why would someone do that with a decent make of car? Looking at these recently i haven't seen any under £2,500.
Is it too good to be true?
- * Edited to add I want to BUY a car, this is not my link. I just want to know if it looks dodgy. thanks. Removed the link now answered incase anyone thinks otherwise.

Hmm.. now I do remember the seller's user id - wanting to see if my car was still for sale.. ( if you know what I mean )... but only ever used text messages.
Car was advertised at £30kish - but they never seemed to have the money to make a phone call. Always wanted me to call them.
It went on for a week or so... the same old messages "is my car for sale..."
I left messages, phoned them etc providing details.
And I still got the same damned text messages from them.
Most weird experience.

If that one is too good to be true, this one must be a unicorn or something

was shown at the bottom of the screen for the black one.
Although I think he might struggle to get to work after the sale..

Selling because I have bought a caravan so Fiesta no longer needed.
I'm not selling a car :-0 I'm trying to BUY one for under £3,000 that is economical!
Their reply to my email asking about service history, mileage, previousd amage etc was almost as poor as the advert itself - "none of the above, 100,000, will tax and mot if want, then I'd want 1650". I do not know what I'm doing with cars and will be going to see it by myself so just wanted other opinions on if it looks shifty (stolen/ old nail etc)
I've seen the red one and wouldn't mind that but it's too far away from me. I'm looking within west midlands.

Seller has zero feedback for selling and their other items are the front panels and interior from a Golf.......
Could be fine, might not be, but they aren't giving much away about what's going on.
ETA - some people aren't very good with words, some people are ok with them but prefer not to put anything much in writing...you decide.

No, exactly. And not very forthcoming when questioned either. Am I best off just moving past this one?
I've seen another one tonight, much nicer and lots of info, seller is good at communicating, but it's done 145,000 miles. Cambelt has been changed. I'm moving from an old 1994 Fiesta Ghia banger, so just want to make sure I'm not getting another old banger but for much more money!!

Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

Am i missing something here? What is actually good about it? They're two a penny and there are plenty for sale under 2 grand, seemingly of much better quality.
