Good to hear they are making a comeback. Guinness,Watney Red Barrel and Tavern were nice too. I much prefer a handle if drinking beer,lager etc.
I detest spirits and soft drinks in thick glasses though.

Pah. Jugs were for soft, limp-wristed shandy-drinking southerners - hence Michael Caine snapping his fingers and requesting his beer "in a thin glass".

I actually remember an advert which featured two Scots ordering beer in an English pub and requesting it in a straight glass, much to the consternation of the locals. The tag line was "hold on with both hands", can't remember what the product was.
