Simply Porsche at Beaulieu 22nd June
Discussion
This year TIPEC have decided to do a different format to the Hatton & Gaydon shows.
Simply Porsche at Beaulieu is an event we are organising jointly with the venue.

If you turn up in a Porsche entry is discounted costing £10 adult, £5 child. A saving of £8.50.
Entry also includes access into the National Motor Museum, Gardens, The Abbey and Palace House home to the Montagu family for over 400 years. This is a great day out for all the family in its own right.
The Porsche Only Parking Area is inside the grounds and there will be trade stands as well as a Show and Shine competition. We are expecting in excess of 500 Porsches which will look great parked along the tree lined avenues around the museum and estate.

Hope its better than last year it seemed to lack atmosphere no trade stands to speak of 3 i think
Couldn't be worse than Cirencester and pcgb, three years back. 50 years of the club and a very poor show of trade stands, there was so little Porsche and so many other stands, that my wife almost bought a picture of a horse FFS.Needs a lot more going on for the porche owners, trade stands, demos from detailers club stands etc needs to have a bit of a buzz about the place, last year most people parked up and wandered off it was my first year of my porche ownership and was expecting it to be a lot more freindly, i shall go again this year only because i only live few miles away. its a good venue and large site so lets see what happens this year.

As stated already, last years event was just a gathering. This year Tipec are co hosting and it is their main event of the summer.
There will be trade stands, entertainment and demos.
The venue also has plenty to do.
Some sunshine this year will be a bonus, this has been pre ordered with the big guy upstairs :0)

It was difficult trying to find a half decent hotel nearby that wasn't already fully booked for the Saturday night.
Hopefully there may be some of the Cornwall and Devon TIPEC guys present, I've checked out the forum and there doesn't appear to me much activity down here?
I believe that a young lady with a 944 has shown an interest in the Devon abd Cornwall tipec region: she attended the recent agm and I think there was talk of her becoming R.O. There's a facebook page: 'tipec Devon and Cornwall'Hopefully there may be some of the Cornwall and Devon TIPEC guys present, I've checked out the forum and there doesn't appear to me much activity down here?

Can we just turn up on the day and if driving a Porsche get the discount price and more important access to the P only parking area? Problem is I never know my schedule till the last minute.
I turned up on the day when I went last year. Really enjoyed it and would go this year but am sadly pre-booked elsewhere. Beaulieu feels a little old and tired these days, but park a load of porkers on the grass outside and it improves massively! Good bacon and coffee in the cafe too.
