New XF Diesel S - 20" Volans

Hi All,
Hopefully someone can help...
I'm buying an XF S from one of the main jag dealers. Spec was absolutely perfect except that it had the "Smoked Volans" wheels.
We had a very long "discussion" on pricing before reaching an agreement. As part of this I asked them to swap the Volans for a 20" Selena set they have on another XF-S.
Three of the staff there including the sales manager told me that this was physically impossible. The car I wanted had the "Adaptive Dynamics" option, which required a different wheel offset.
Looking in to this I now suspect this is untrue.
Can anyone advise?

I'd put money on this being utter BS too, but if you are unsure then call Spires and explain the situation. They know the setups inside out and will tell you whether there are any offset differences to be aware of.

I recently sold a Portfolio S which had the Adaptive Dynamics pack and 20" Selenas..... We didn't change them, that's how we took it in from a group dealer, but no problems when it went through the workshop inspection.

Volans and Selena's are fully interchangeable, Same size and offsets.

Dealer is bullstting you mate.
