Hello there, where do I begin I'm very new to Forum's so please excuse any naivety. My Porsche and I have been together now for 18 years, it's been garaged for around 8 years, I started it for the first time after 3 years about 4wks ago Well as you can imagine it started with lots of smoke, but that settled and it seemed to run ok with a bit of backfiring, over the years I have spent loads on it, oh it is a 2.4s was originally a mechanically fuel injected but the owner before me changed it over to triple webber carbretor, which I completely overhauled.

So firstly since getting it back the first problem I seem to have is that when you put the car in gear the car stalls, it will pull of but you have to rev the engine sufficiently high to achieve motion.

Can anyone help????
