Forthcoming Aston Martin Auction.

Not seen Vantage Zagatos much in Aston Martin thread.

Anyone got anything original to say about them?

(PS Here they all are: http://v8vantage.com/Aston-Martin-Vantage-Zagato-G...

P.S. I have no affiliation to auction or v8vantage.com

Not the prettiest Aston IMHO . Prices seem to be firming up though . Prefer the DB7 Zag to this one.

Better than the convertible version but one of the least successful Zagato's IMO. Agree with Graham that the 7 version is far better looking.

Very of their time. Not good looking at all. Simon Le Bon had one - says it all
The last Vantage magazine had an in depth article on the Zagatos

They remind me of Renault Fuego's for some reason.

That blue Zagato doesn't do it for me, but this car does:

The probs I see with that one - nice as it is, is that it is not the supercharged V550 or 600. Those command a massive premium.

I suspect the cost of maintaining it for the road (and that NP V8's and to a lesser extent the V12's )will be horrendous and bills will soon be greater than its worth. The V550 probably can hold its own, the V600's appear to be very rare and appreciating significantly now.

Yes, that's it! I knew it reminded of something, and not in a good way. I can't think of another Aston that looks so obviously dated, but then it seems that most 80s design cars have fared poorly.

Good car for a collection of Zagatos. One that is to be hidden away in some large garage, but not driven, for heaven's sake!
