I got the same set you had Benn, fitted nice and simple and had the lights on Saturday night for an hour and one side has stopped working, have since bought a new set of bulbs which hae a 2 yr warranty, the bulbs in the set may have been cheap crap, and I`ll investigate on Saturday, its just a pain in the bum job having to take the front wheel off to get to the lights.
something I`ve seen on the net is that you may have to increase the rating of your headlight fuses from 15 to 30 amp, and also the light is projected by the plates inside the lamp unit, these plates/covers being designed for a halogen bulb, so putting an hid bulb in the lamp sends a lot of the light down onto the ground directly in front of the car, which having set mine up does seem to be the case, this of course is set with the top of the beam line at the required height for the mot.
in 2 minds to just revert to decent normal bulbs tbh.

bought the 4K version to have a decent look. anything else way to blue....

Incorrect mine are 6K and are pure white...plus they're not Chinese they are a German kit which might explain the non blue look

Mine have been on 2 years + LED white sidelights with no issues.

been investigation this morning, no connection problems, fuses ok, but dash pod lights staying off, and left light not working, so have removed the hid kit, fitted new halogen bulbs and all works as it should, dash pod functions properly.
I`m not a great lover of car electrics, so will stick with the halogen bulbs, perhaps my kit, even though it has digital ballast units isn't suitable for the sag electrics, I don't know, but having to remove the wheels to access the back of the lights each time makes for a job that gets infuriating, so halogens it is.
Interesting conversation with Jason of Str8six yesterday, apparently some of these kits can reset your mileage, or cause access problems to the dash menu, messing about with the dash pod and dash ecu.
