Thats a shame mate...I have just got rid of two..You could ask Tickover but i doubt if they will have one with the key in the door handle...There is one here for sale..No key but then the barrel can be easily changed over..

I always thought they was Cortina, not Capri

As said you can swap the locks but it is a pain, to get the 2mm roll pin out.

on a related note, how easy are these to take off? been meaning to sort out the passenger side which is sticking a bit and will be easier to clean it off the car

there are 2 bars and 2 clips and 2 bolts, once the door card is off.

the clips will be vary brittle due to age, and 50/50 will break but you can use a cable tie as a replacement, they will come off easy but may break on re-fitting.

The spring gets rusty and causing them to stick / break, and the inner handle is very weak at the spring point.
You do need to get it off though to get to it to give it an oil. I used copper slip on mine.

Excellent stuff guys...ill email the boys at Tickover and see if they do.

Ive fitted it so i can drive the car but will have to lean over the window to get in!! Obviously the roof is always off...

Zig - could i grab a couple of those clips? The reason mine has been broken is someone has araldited it together before (before my time) and hence it snapped when came apart.

Love this forum thumbup

There are 2 on each side, one for the lock, and one for the handle.
