Currently there is an RAF Merlin circling overhead Farnborough. It's not over the airfield but seems to be over the Hawley area. It's rear ramp is lowered.

Probably holding awaiting an approach in Odi.
Thought you'd know that?

We don't normally get helicopters circling overhead Farnborough for Odiham.

A couple of years ago, the old Oak Farm School comprehensive was turned into a Military Academy. I think it might have been putting on a bit of a demo for the cadets.
It certainly seemed to be overhead that general area.

Had one overfly the flat in Sandhurst on Wednesday evening too, noisy bugger.
Looking like it was RMA bound.

Fair point. I just had it in my head that it was further south where the approach starts.

I think just about any time THIS year would be suitable Eric.

Very well done to all concerned, I hope we get to see a lot of that particular poppy this year.

Another tonight around 1800, a lot quieter this time!
