Clinical Psychologist/Psychology teacher/Therapist

Anyone have any relations to clinical psychology, or any form of psychology. Im looking for a bit of work experience for around 2-3 weeks. In the Hertfordshire area if possible. I am a university student studying Psychology BSc and have been advised to get experience instead of looking at my car all day!

Have you considered going on the BPS website and searching for psychologists in your area and sending letters to them asking for work experience. You may not get many replies but as long as you come across as willing and professional in the letters you may get a result.

If you are trying to get into clinical psych you may need ore than a few weeks experience. My wife's school friend is one and she ended up doing two masters after her degree before getting on the doctorate program. Apologise if I'm teaching you how to suck eggs!

No, I do understand the process. I have to do a BSc and then jump on to a doctorate program. I would like to work along side a psychologist just to get a feel.
