Surprised Podie hasn't come in with a Knob gag, but there you go.
Have you looked at the Leven site, they advertise all colours and flavours of knobs.

Leven dont do any for the S IIRC. Try www.Europaspares.com click on 'online shop', they have a round chrome gear knob, have a look at my profile photo and you can see it.

Good luck hope he likes it whichever you choose.

The reason they don't is that there were so many vareties of thread they'd have to do an adapter and they have not yet found a satisfactory solution.

The DemonTweaks ones they said are generic ones so don't have the fit and feel they perhaps should - but I've not played with one myself.

Mine is a generic one held on wih three grub screws, no problems with it - unlike the original which kept falling off. (Cue Podie ...)

Hello!

I've recently bought a nice Richbrook one (the "Slant Top" one I think?!). Worth a look at the website...

www.richbrook.co.uk

Was easy to fit. But a little tube of Silicone might be useful - to stop it shooting off due to the vibrations

Got mine from Demon Tweeks (it's right next to my work!). It's a sparco plain round chrome polished and it looks really good(£22.50 'ish).
As previous posts, it fits on using 3 grub screws and so far it's still very secure and feels great, a lot better than the original one anyway.

- how many joke opportunities in 1 post??? -

Ar$e, I'd always been told they were poo so I waited for Leven to do one instead

Mind you, had to tighten up the grub screws on my handbrake yesterday as it rose up and hid the knob at the end!

Thanks for your help its much appreciated, I did contact Leven they suggested I try Halfords but a genuine gear knob is much preferred if possible. Just had a look at Demon Tweeks they seem to have an ok substitute. I am very surprised that "knob" jokes were kept to a minimum! Thanks!
