Hi there, i need to replace the handbrake shoes on my standard 2.5 gto. Are they an item you can only get from noble or are they a standard fitment from something else ? Any info much appreciated. thanks.

Noble only I'm afraid , stupid money too !!! some have had them re-linned but not sure where you get that done . how bad are yours ?

I brought mine from a Noble owners in the states for cheaper than uk.

Have mad so much difference as now I have a hand break that works

Had mine re-lined about 2 years ago and they have worked perfectly ever since. Cost £10 for the both of them from an old school re-lining company, guy said it was the simplist job he'd had all week, only left them with him for half a day and they came back cleaned and painted 👍👍

Managed to get them relined about 4 miles from my doorstep for the princely sum of £30, top job by a company called fastek. There in Bradford but also have places elsewhere, check out their website for details. Sure beats the £224 i was quoted for a new pair.

my handbrake stopped working recently, more likely the cable has disconnected in the tunnel, but possibly the heat from racing has burnt off what was left of the original material.
