Full roll cage

Currently on T1r's for general road use, but have a couple of sets of 888's and a set of a048's ready for some track days.

It's ripe for a engine transplant, thinking m52 for the sake of simplicity and affordability.

Looks very mean and moody on those TH's! Lovely car, have you attended many track days in it?

Thanks guys - I've had a few e30's now and wrote my last off at the ring.

I've only been booked onto one TD so far but that was rained off! There was a few things I wanted to update with the car since I bought it last year, but have plans to convert it to run an m52 over the winter.

For some reason this makes me sad, another car that I aspired to when I was in my teens stripped out and turned into a track slag frown like all of the 205 gti's thbeing stripped, soon there won't be any decent ones left on the road.

Just my 2 pence worth.

You mean now it provides more enjoyment than ever before? There are plenty of these sitting around in dusty sheds, garages or collections, none ever turning a wheel. I want to see a car get used, no matter what it is. I think it'd be best keeping the standard engine so that it's still essentially the same machine, but certainly don't lament it being turned out pretty tastefully like this smile

If you wanted to be all nostalgic with an original example from your youth, you should have bought this one ten years ago wink

This car was stripped and the cage installed back in 2005. Whilst it's now a long way from it's original form and gets driven hard, it will no doubt outlast most of the rusty, unmaintained e30's you see on the road. Plus this was only a 325 with a few trinkets and not an m3.

If I was building an e30 from scratch today, it would definitely be a basic 2 door, non sunroof though.
