400SE Hot wire strange boxes behind dash Dip ./ Dim ?

Are these part of an alarm system / central locking or are they part of the car.
Not sure if one is the Dip/Dim module.

That's the tyre flame controller: you know, when you get to 88mph and the tyres leave flames down the road...

Look like I'd just have to trace the colours and wires, from the wiring diagram, and to bring my laptop down the barn.
As want to remove what's not needed
