Had the exhaust off the Tamora over the winter and had my 1st run out in it down to Donington yesterday. When I'd parked up at the circuit I got out of the car went round to the boot and noticed the number plate had a white line running nearly the the length of it ,I though what the hell is that? I touched it and it was very hot.... I then realised when I put the heat shield on that the number plate is attached to I'd pushed it right on to the rear exhaust can and didn't leave a gap so the heat had transferred directly on to the shield hence the melt down white line the numbers as still legible though so I can drive down to Duxford..bugger 👎😡😊

The car is looking more like a rat rod every day! Thank god it's getting re-sprayed and re- trimmed in the winter.

Walked past your car today at Duxford Buzz, if the red one was yours. So that was four I counted. Most I think I've seen at a show.

Hi Mr M

Yes it was: the old rat rod... But the 4.3 makes up for its condition wink I think you were parked in front of Geoff Ashcrofts Tamora looking at your profile photo. It was a cracking day. Wasn't that interested in the cars to be honest... It's the 1st time I've been to Duxford in 15 years .... The American Museum was brilliant ...

Ah, I was over by the runway Buzz, so that wasn't me but I did have a good look at those and the yellow one. Don't often see other Tamoras. Would have like to have heard your 4.3. Another time no doubt :-)

Yes, the American section was eye opening as usual. Size of that B52 !!.
