OK, not cheap when compared to my T350 wink but now cheapest for sale on PH:

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

Apart from the mileage which may put some off and likewise the interior trim, is anything known about this car?

Gaz golds suggest it's been run on a budget, that would put me off.

Still at that price it's a bargainscratchchin

I guess they want to sell it..;-)

I think its very hard at the moment to find customers for these cars - for people who want to drive, they are overpriced - its better to go with a Tuscan, T350 or Tamora and people who collect cars aren't that much out there. And this is not a collectors car...

If I'm looking for a Sag now, I would definitly have a look at this one! Ican remeber, it was sold in the year when I got mine. 33k GBP with 30k miles on the clock.

42,5 GBP, plus 3k for a respray (if you dont like the color), 1,5k for 19" Jade R's and still a lot of money for an (possible) engine rebuilt.

I have been puzzling the same - it is a 2006 - good colour - add 15k for a 4.3/4.5 and 5k for cosmetics, less allowance for bargaining - and it wouldn't be over-priced.

At that price - I keep thinking - there must be something hidden.

The dealer just probably wants rid of it, if the signs on the picture are true the average punter that turns up there and compares the build quality to any of the other marques just isn't going to be interested.

Plus if you want a drivers car, buy a t360 or tamora spend 15k on it and it would blow a sag to the weeds.. Saying that it does look nice ;-)

I think that colour is bl00dy fantastic lick The Gaz stuff would have to go, though... quite how someone thought that would be an upgrade from the OE Bilsteins...

It could be the mileage - I know it's low for the year, but not low for the type of car it is, I guess....

Nothing wrong with the car at all. Local to me and I know the owner and teh car well, it's been regularly serviced and well looked after.
Just a nice used example that isn't a pristine garage queen.

ETA If I had the cash and was looking for a Sag I'd be happy buy this.

I would have thought the price was about right. All those Sags at 55k plus are overpriced AND they don't seem to be selling.
I don't have an axe to grind about Sag prices as I am a Sag owner myself.

70k for an exeptional low mileage Sag, and 55k for a similar T350 should now be the norm.Wake up,what else are you going to get for this money

The sag has always been a marmite car. I love them long time, a lot of people think that it's a 350 that's been hit with a axe. There's your problem.

It looks like a lovely car. The paint colour won't be to everyone's taste but mad colours are part of the TVR appeal and unless the photos are flattering, it doesn't look like it's stone chipped at all. There aren't many cars available so I'd buy on condition rather than colour. The interior is more of an acquired taste but a new steering wheel and a partial retrim would calm things down a lot for not a lot of money.

My only question would be what happen in 2012 when it didn't get serviced and didn't accrue many miles? Would have been nice to at least see an oil change.

If the dealer's only into small margins, the car has probably lost 2-5k in 8yrs. I love TVRs as much as anyone else but I just don't see them as appreciating assets so this is still a remarkable feat. I love my T350T but if I had the resources I would certainly be going to look at this.

Isn't it just that it's a non-specialist dealer who's taken it as a trade-in on something pricy and now needs it off his books?

You're almost certainly right: I was tired and missed that.

the moral of the story is in my opinion they have stopped selling due to there price there are a lot of special cars available that you can buy for your 55k upwards with better build quality etc i can see the prices of these cars dropping back over time please this is just my opinion some may agree and some may disagree but being a previous sag owner i do not see them worth the current market prices trying to be achieved

I think you're just pissed you gave yours away for peanuts,

Especially when Str8six got top money for it,

Please don't take offence just my opinion,

Are you still after another Sag?

The owner of Amari Supercars seems like a decent chap, he often frequents the Preston Supercars meet in very expensive exotica. I suspect that most of his stock is running at multiples of the sag value. As a few have said, this probably has been taken in part ex and he wants rid.
