I am sprinting my Cayman R and putting on 18 inch wheels instead of the standard 19 inch wheels as I can run Kumho tyres on the smaller rim. The front offsets are fine but I need to space out each rear wheel by 20mm (total 40mm for the track of both wheels). Can anyone recommend a particular type of spacer and a supplier who will have it in stock this week? I am thinking that I need a bolt on plate spacer rather than just a plain spacer with longer bolts.

Do Porsche use bolts? That's utterly pathetic.

You'll be OK with hubcentrics (Tweeks will have something, or there will be something on eBay). Stud conversion makes better engineering sense than bolts Google will turn something up.

Google Cayman Tequipment pdf and look for the pdf, I am sure Porsche would do a set.

Porsche won't sell you 20mm spacers.

Are you running slicks ?

Not Joking. Try Halfords!

They do lots of boy racer bits and custom wheels and I think scratchchin I have seen universal spacers for other German 5 bolt wheels.

Use universals and you'll have an ongoing "wheel out of balance" issue. It's only a Porker, but go hubcentric.
