I tried Contacting him numerous times via phone and email to get the new polo/faired in lights when he released details and heard naff all back, would still love it but not impressed at all tbh. I did wonder whether he was still developing it before he sold it on properly but 2 things arise from that thought, 1.he could at least reply to my messages with that and 2. I have seen another person saying he's just had it done after I tried to contact him.

I noticed that he posted a message today or could of been yesterday on the TVRCC forum.. So seem's he's still conversing in the car world.

Just to provide a bit of balance during mid march Steve replied to my emails in detail regarding the Lupo conversion so he might just have a lot on his plate at the moment. I don't know him so can't say if he is working solo or with a team but if he is solo then family matters could be taking him away from business.

Steve's is a single handed business.
His wife had their first baby a few weeks ago. When I spoke to him at the end of March he said he was taking a few weeks off.

Being a new father myself I would expect that he has other things on his mind.

Mine was the last faired in conversion he did before going off on paternity leave, absolutely delighted with the quality of his work. No gaps, no nasty bodging in with sealant, it was all mounted onto a custom bracket/support.

I tried getting in contact a couple of months ago not this past week or two, I wouldn't blame him for having time away for that

Yours was the one I remember seeing done after I'd tried contacting him, really pee'd me off seeing it to be honest! I run a business myself and prefer to use people like that rather than the larger companies and don't mind situations like the above but this was well before whilst he was still working, I might give him one more go at some point as the polo faired in conversion is just what I want.

In all honesty mine was booked in since before Christmas.
Would encourage anyone having problems to persevere - delighted with mine. If anyone wants to PM me I can give you Steve's number (not sure if its the same one from his website?)

Interested. Is there any reason why the black cowling cannot be coded to match the bodywork colour or am I missing something ?

These cowls are painted matt black as standard, or can be body coloured at small additional cost. Alternatively they can be supplied in 2-pack primer for final painting by the customer.

Steve did get in touch, it must have been a old message on his answering machine. Cowls ordered, iv'e gone for smoked lenses with a wide band, the cars white so they should look good.
Barry at TVR eccosse is fitting them, to chicken to do them myself.
