Does look nice, I'm not personally a fan of the (gaudy?) red interior, but each to their own on that front.

Did they really only make 40 FHC 280i's? Sounds a bit low to me (but what do i know?) its a W plate (1981/2?) so that would make it early in terms of wedges generally but relatively late for a 280i?

Will be interesting to see what it goes for, it's a similar colour to my DHC

Hmmm, another S1 shell on a later plate, could be another ex-demonstrator.

There were 116 S1 FHCs made IIRC. The DHC appeared around the time the S2 FHC (with the sloped, rather than vertical, rear vision panel) was introduced and that probably accounts for a decline in the number of FHCs being sold.
