Hi Guys,

I've had no luck with the search function. Does anyone have any experience with tyre pressures for a V12 Vantage on Pirelli P Zero Corsa's for track day use?

TIA,
Chris

When I was at an Aston run V12VS track day last year, the instructor told me they were running at normal recommended tyre pressure.

Ah, thanks for the invite Y100, but Snett is a little too far for me to travel these days....
Heading to Sydney Motorsport Park for a day tomorrow!

Thanks V12Vanquish, in the absence of anything else I'll go with road rates and see how it goes.

I used road pressures set when cold. Wear on the shoulders, and temp, not excessive.

Just my personal opinion. If you set off with regular/recommended tyre pressures, the tyres will over inflate with temperature increase. The tyre will then "balloon" and start to move around more. I generally aim for no more than 40psi when hot. So, you can either set off with about 32psi, and they will come up in pressure depending on how you drive, weather, and track surface. Or, you set off with regular tyre pressure, and after 2 or 3 laps, come in to the pits, and reduce as necessary. Hope this helps....
