Did a bootcamp Saturday morning followed by Parkrun then attempted a 10k x-country on the Sunday, obviously too much for my poor old body as I pulled a hamstring on a hill. I enjoy the running etc and would like to get back to it asap so will those neoprene supports help at all or is it just marketing bullst? Any other tips to get better much appreciated.

Cheers, TX.

Edit - was painful on Sunday and today just feels a bit "tight" so seemingly improved by just resting over last few days.

They do help, a bit.

I'd look to the cause of the hamstring pull firstly though. I'm going to guess they were overworked due to weak glutes. Without seeing you, that is a guess like I said.
