SSR - sprayless scratch repair

I have a small 3" very light scuff on the rear bumper (black car) and being a perfectionist it is bugging me, even though you would only notice it clos eup.
My local car wash / bodyshop suggested SSR as a cheap and almost-as-good alternative to a full respray which is not worth it given small size.
Anyone heard of this / used them?

yip.. Its a touch up, if that's what your after then it would be ideal. What they do is rub the closest colour into and around the area, grab their wool pad and go hell for leather buffing the excess paint off. It works better on darker colours, light metallics are harder to take your eye off the area.
If you're a person who knows about swirls etc, make sure they refine with some other compounds afterwards.
