Goodness me how they like egging the cake! Just looking at the engine bay and the poor quality photo it is easy to see that the air box is wrong (4.2) the radiator is not even E-type, the dash pot covers are plastic later versions. That's just for starters and I won't bore you with the rest, but their publicity is a tissue of blatant lies. But it'll sell to some fool.

No, no, no, you've got it all wrong.
"concours" standard in sales speak means shiny.
All this worrying at whether anything is as it should be doesn't matter. Its only anoraks that worry about whether the right Bee's bolts are being used or whether its painted the right colour, or even in extreme cases whether the car in questions is even an E-Type. None of that matters, what matters is how shiny it is.

Now surely the worrying thing is that they aren't even confident of how shiny the car is or they'd provide better photos.

Wonder if it's got the original cylinder head ? Or a new one stamped with the old number ?

The dashpot covers don't look plastic to me, they're just polished originals with the shallow top. Not sure about the air collector on that year, but the radiator at least looks like a decent alloy aftermarket job.

Still, £100K+ for a left hooker import? Dream on!
