Do I need a pressure cap on my new swirl pot ? How many lbs ? Or a 'non' pressure cap

Ho ho... The pressure cap is 15 lbs if on the swirl pot it must have the return valve. Mine was on header

Perhaps I should just ask for a link to a standard pressure cap for my swirl pot?

It's likley on the alt parts list and yes it does have a return valve
