Gumball in Edinburgh - 8th June

All I can find on line is that the Gumball will be on the Mound from 9am to 3pm on the Sunday, though they are also supposed to heading to London on the Sunday too.

Has anyone any further information on departure times for the cars and indeed which way the bulk are heading?

Tempting as it is to join the inevitable crowds to peer at them parked up, it would be nice to park up on a motorway bridge or side road somewhere and see them getting opened up a little on their way out of town.

Aly, I would be up for joining you.

The main reason they're coming to Edinburgh is because Max (the owner) got engaged last Christmas I think, in Edinburgh.

I've got a contact that's actually taking part this year in Gumball, I'll drop him a text and perhaps we can take it from there?

Having seen their departures from other cities over the years I would expect a fair turnout of z-list celeb spotters and many prestige and performance car enthusiasts to be in town for them setting off.

Si, it would be nice to have some insider knowledge of their suggested routes out of the city and actual departure times - they are scheduled to arrive in London "in the evening" of the same day so I can't see them still messing about in town here at 3pm.

The Gumball is staying at the Rutland Hotel who will put on a bit of a street party on the Saturday afternoon with 20 cars on display outside the hotel.

On the Sunday the cars will be at the national galleries 9am - 11am.

Anyone know which way they are heading out of Edinburgh to London? i.e. A68, A1? I'd like to see them in full flight en route.
