Mrs: RR Evoque. We've got one and love it, plus it'll sing the British song. Great for family trips.

A truck with a tow boom. Preferably rusty in places and built somewhere in the 40's with a nice little tweaked old school V8 something under the bonnet (sorry, cannot say that other word, it's just wrong).

The second car would be a TVR.

The latter justifies the former.

I prefer to be self sufficient and do my own towing.

I love Crown Vics, sort of the dictionary definition of a car, so comfy and spacious, so tough and dependable, I love getting taxis in the states, so many are ex Police on half a million miles, they sort of look better a bit scruffy with steel wheels, perhaps with a bit more under the hood (want to say bonnet but cant in this context)

Are they actually good to drive ?

I'd also buy an M4 Carbine - if I'm moving to America, I'm going to buy guns. Lots of guns.

Disregarding the part about how difficult it'd be to actually buy a car if a non resident, I really liked playing hirecar roulette at AVIS while I was over in California a couple of years ago

3 Mustangs, an Infiniti, a Taurus, a Chevvy Cruze, an Impala and a Camero SS later I preferred the Mustangs

If I were to go for relatively modern cars it would have to be the following:

C6 Z06 for the daily as they are quite reliable, have a large boot and are not that much worse on fuel than my current commuter. Being nippy is also an advantage.

The wife would get the f150 raptor.

Fun car would be the Ford GT.

Somewhere within all of the above would be a lottery win!
