Custom dash binnacle manufacture
Discussion
Hi Max,
We are talking about a simple wooden buck that I could make myself if I had a shed and the time
Nothing OTT. It just needs to then be used to make the dash binnacle either in GRP or plastic formed (vacuum I assume is cheapest).
I thought I'd find plenty of workshops on Google but no joy.
It's only for a small run and doesn't need to be critically accurate.

make it from cardboard and expanding polyurethane foam on the kitchen table, if the wife allows:

laminate it with a bit of glass cloth and surface it with body filler and patience. All doable in the kitchen with the vacuum cleaner handy.

Thanks. The issue is that I do not have the time to do this myself. That is the frustrating element as knocking up a buck and then creating a GRP mould is something I have done many times before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O23TM-z0OXk

What's needed is a business who can do this.
These guys do lots of custom fibreglass work. The issue is they are usually very busy!
