Hi, I don't know thats why I was asking as the fitter said to me 'Is the whole shell fibre glass or is there a steel earth in the A pillar.

Do you know where the earth is in the footwell, any help would be appreciated...

The A pillar trim is all fibreglass, but can't remember what it screws in to.

Thanks Cockey, have to look at alternatives as the earth is right next to the ariel which sits on the windscreen....

There is a steel tube inside the A-pillar going all around the upper side of the windscreen.

Mine has an earth point on the right hand side of the passenger footwell under the carpet, but I'm not sure if a previous owner put it in or if it's the same on all of them. I'll try to photo it tonight if it helps

This is correct.

Steel tube around top of windscreen, down both pillars to pick-up on outriggers just forward of door opening. In fact door hinge mounts are welded to this tube...thus 'linking' side impact beams is door to structure.
