Had my beautiful black S2000 GT for over 5 years now, - due to the type of driving I do these days, I am after something economical with an elevated driving position. Budget 6 - 10k.

Top of my list at the moment is a 4 door RAV4 diesel, - reasonable mpg, - reasonably high up

Considered the Nissan Juke, but not sure about the looks tbh, i do like it, but maybe a bit feminine

CRV looks a little TOO big

What am I missing, - any decent suggestions would be much appreciated!

Quite a wide criteria

I'd probably be looking at the BMW X3 or VW Tiguan

Neither as good as the Tiguan or X3 but if you want something cheap with a high seating position they'll do the job.

didnt realise the x3 was in my price range.... - so the Tiguan and X3 are considered the best - why is that?

presumably the X3 has run flats as the reviews say the ride is pretty poor.
