Hi darren. Yes I have been speaking to dad, very nice chap and he was hoping to bring you some goodies in his suitcase when he visits soon.
Very nice chim you have, mine shares the name but is at the other end of the scale, 4L, used and abused but great fun and a real hoon to drive and makes the trip to work much less mundane.
I've never posted before but really do find this forum hugely helpful with some very knowledgable chaps and good ideas. Since I've had mine over the last three years I've broken out my rusty set of spanners and carried out a cosworth front brake conversion, sleeved exhaust, new dash refurb, window mech refurb, rear light conversion and just finished replacing the outriggers which really I wouldn't want to do again and best of all it just passed its mot for another year, yippee which I'm pleased with as my level of mechanical ability is changing the oil at best!
Cheers
Darren

Thanks Darren, really kind of you to spend the time talking with him. I think he likes the car as much as me and hasn't even seen it yet. He just say a TVR delivery van across the road from his house and he was off biggrin Bless him, what's on my shopping list at the moment is a little more than he can take as carry on for the plane.

Be interested to see some of those work items you mention. He did say you did an interesting dash refurb. Any details?

Cheers
