Having trawled the classifieds for a V8 'weekend' car, and not finding anything which really piqued the interest (at my budget!), I visited the Kit Car Show at Stoneleigh on Sunday.

The Dax Rush V8 and Westfield SEiGHT's seem like my cup of tea, so does anyone know where I might be able to pick up such a car?
I'm already stalking the Pistonheads Classifieds, Dax and Westfield club sites....

OR
Have I missed something similar which I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance.

Very few people install a v8 in a seven type car so thats probably your biggest problem.
Its not much help but there are some nice cars our there with bike and 4 cylinder engines, what is your budget?

Your budget should be ample, I'd post on a Westfield forum and ask if anyone wants to sell. Straight in with a kidney punch!! Your money is probably safe in a V8 Westy, but I would urge you to try one before buying if you have not yet done so, back to back with a powerful 4 cylinder one. It's all about the balance in such a light car, and torque delivery. Having only ever driven one which was fun definitely, it had too many handling vices por moi, a v8 is probably much better for me in a 1 tonne TVR. But who doesn't love a fire-breathing V8 kitcar eh?

With that budget I'd buy a £6k westie, throw a grand at the brakes, a few hundred quid at the tyres and the rest installing an AJP8/T5 combo from a Cerbera and add an LSD. Monster car that sounds special.
