Before I call them, does anybody have any idea how much these things cost?
Thinking of upgrading my London pad and would like the option of buying a garage-less house but have one of these put in. I expect they won't be cheap and I might be able get my own tradesmen to do it for less (it's just a hole in the ground right?).

I don't know how much they are, I'm afraid, but a quick googoo produced this:

Looks pretty smart.

Try getting buried in London, Slarti.....another expensive hole in the ground.

Stick to Northern land prices, me old cupcake. I've even offered to 'Bury' George foc, though it is a time-limited concession smile

I am mid-build at the moment. Started off with underground plans, but cost of digging, tanking, etc and also risk (would have to underpin part of house), led to 2 levels above ground and an extra height garage. So, I'll hve parking for 4, but will have to move lower level cars out before lowering top. (I actually decided that this was better option, as I can see all cars when opening garage, rather than being hidden. All part of the fun!)

If I remember correctly, it was hard to do double space underground, with drive over (excluding underpinning), for much less than £100k, all-in. It was more than 20+VAT to dig pit, tank it, retaining walls etc. Then the lift on top, 3 phase power supply, and surfacing etc.

You should call these guys

And ask to talk to Andrew Smith - he posts on here; that's how I first made contact

I noted on a visit that the Bury Football Club ground has a 'Cemetry End' - I was quite amused by that and assume rates there are cheaper then darn South.
