Hi all,

Ive owned the car since 2011 and slowly but surely got it to where it is today. Its a genuine 2000 Saleen new edge Mustang #801 which is factory supercharged. After 3 months of owning it, I spun a rod bearing. So out came the lump and I rebuilt it with forged internals. Managed to get a good year of enjoyment out of it before putting it away last winter for its next project.

Cars currently off the road having a new bigger supercharger fitted aswell as some heads and stage 2 cams. Hopefully be ready in time for summer. Fingers crossed.

Anyway enough of the crap. Heres some pictures.

Sounds great!

Don't see many Mustangs on the road, Saleen less so.

Nicely done! I'm starting to like these more and more as they age.

Those fenders seem really wide -- are the stock?

Haha well spotted mate. Previous owner in america had them professionally flared. Gives it that unique look I think

This is definitely one of those cars that I shouldn't really like, but its because of that that makes it so special. Hats off to you for taking the plunge, it sounds bleedin' awesome.

Have you any pics of the interior, don't think i've ever seen an inside shot of one.

Keep us updated OP. smile

Thanks for the comments. Yea ill post an interior shot up as soon as I can. The car is a manual which makes it real fun to drive. Hopefully will upgrade it to the Cobra 6 speed to handle the extra power.
