Anybody come across a trolley jack that will get under my S1 with LSS??

I know elise parts do one but it seems a tad pricey?

Thanks guys

Will this help:
www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p=020110270

If you can remove the saddle I imagine it will get it nearer 100mm

Sealey LE jacks are what you want.

Any decent sealey dealer, including online do them.

I have 2. A 2 ton and a 3 ton. Both do down to 80cm and I use them for every elise I work on (including the 340r)

cheers

C'mon Ragtop,

I thought the 'liz parts one was a bit pricey!

I think the Sealey ones seem a bit "pro" for my needs.

Do I really need to spend £100-£300?! I'm just going to be doing a bit of tinkering.

Also I don't think the Halfords one goes down far enough.

It seems "Low entry" = mega bucks!

Just get the halfords one and drive on to some wooden blocks or bricks first

The Sealey should only set you back about a hundred quid - it won't break after a few used and has a nice big saddle ideal for the liz.

Sealey often have deals on them - they're fantastic.

Cheers Stu,

Ok On cost but will it fit under my car with LSS?

Not to sure if the 100mm saddle height will do it?

Now I know why I signed up to PH, What would I do without you guys?!

Not a complete idiot really, car kept bloody miles away and wanted to order a jack today. Thought some fellow S1 owners with LSS might have been able to help!

I use this one:

Very low (80mm):

And an optional rubber saddle cover, perfect for the Elise:

Also noticed one on Ebay yesterday under the Lotus section - pics of it being used on an Elise were attached. Sorry but I can't remember how much it was!
